Modeling with Purpose

How did you get into modeling?
I got the opportunity to shoot for Nelly New Faces in 2018.

What made you want to become a model?
I’ve always loved fashion and beauty – it’s been a little dream of mine for as long as I can remember. For a long time, it felt out of reach, mostly because of my height, but it’s so inspiring to see how the industry has evolved and become more inclusive. Today, it actually feels possible.

What was your first photoshoot like?
It was terrible!! I was so uncomfortable and stiff. But I took it as a challenge to improve and grow.

What’s the biggest lesson you've learned from the industry?
Nothing is personal. Clients have a specific vision of what they’re looking for, and if you’re lucky, you happen to match that vision.

How has the modeling industry changed since you started?
It’s definitely improved and become much more inclusive.

How did you get in touch with KSTING?
I met a model named Sion who was already signed with KSTING and recommended them to me.

What has your experience been like getting booked through KSTING?
Really great! It feels very friendly and relaxed, but still super professional.

What’s the best job you've gotten through KSTING so far?
Probably the Oriflame commercial shoot. It was a two-day job, and it was amazing to see the scale of the production and all the work behind it.

What’s the best thing about being a model?
The variety – being creative in different ways, meeting new people, and expressing different sides of myself in each job. And of course, getting to travel sometimes and experience new environments.

Do you have a favorite photographer, stylist, or makeup artist you love working with?
Yes, absolutely! There are a few I really click with – you can feel right away when the energy is right. It always makes the job more fun and the results better when the team feels safe and creative.
